Where's My Donation Going?

All donations received by our organization are immediately put towards the funding of another new artificial limb for someone in need, whether it be a child or Military Veteran. Each Participant has an amount of the cost of their individualized prosthetic limb. Once their amount is funded, the participant is notified and the process begins to create their new prosthetic limb. Each donation goes towards the cost of a child's prosthetic limb, which starts at $5,000 and up, or an adult's prosthetic limb that starts at $20,000 and up. Every donation counts towards the overall goal of providing as many free prosthetic limbs to those who have suffered the loss of a limb or a limb difference.

Change Lives

How does it work?

By donating to Life Giving Limbs through one of our available options, you are directly depositing into a fund that accumulates a balance, until the proper amount is reached to pay for a recipient's purchase of a customized artificial prosthetic limb. Funds are spread evenly over the participants waiting for their limb until one reaches the amount needed. As one person gains their limb, another person who needs a limb takes the open place in line; to start getting funding applied for their limb purchase. Unfortunately, this means those whose prosthetics don't cost as much, get their limbs first; and those whose limbs cost a lot more, always have to wait longer for their amount to be fulfilled. While our funding process is fair, we wish we could fulfill the request for every limb much quicker. Our list of those requesting help grows daily, and it is only with the help of others that we are able to help as many as we can now. Those that we help appreciate every donation made, because even if it adds only smalls amounts to their overall balance at a time, every penny counts towards a new prosthetic for all of them.
